As someone who’s spent years fostering a love of reading in young minds, I know firsthand the magic that stories can bring into our lives. That same magic is what inspired me to create Novel Retreats and Gifts—a space for adult readers to slow down, reconnect with books, and enjoy a weekend of intentional rest and community.

Each retreat is thoughtfully designed to include delicious meals, engaging book discussions, and the option to join in relaxing, creative activities like yoga, flower arranging, or reading-themed crafts. And yes—every retreat guest leaves with a special swag bag full of literary goodies, including items from my own line of book-inspired merchandise.

When I'm not in the classroom or planning the next retreat, I'm usually curled up with a good book, sketching out new merch ideas, or dreaming of the next story to share.
